Hey all,

This is a reminder that our performance for the Nanyang JC concert has been cancelled due to H1N1.

Such a pity, I’m really apologetic about it :(

However, please don’t think that all our practice has gone to waste, it’s always good to hone our harmoc skills right? Practice makes perfect! Hopefully, we can attain our seniors’ standards SOON ((:

Right now, let’s focus on giving our best performance on national day!

Cheers :)

P.s. Practice on Friday (national day celebration) is cancelled

GOOD LUCK!

My Final Post

•June 2, 2009 • 2 Comments

HEY everyone!

Thank you to all who worked hard and made Windworks ’09 a success. According to seniors and friends, they said the concert had exceeded expectations and was very enjoyable indeed. Frankly, I myself am surprised that we pulled this off with only three weeks plus of preparation. Hopefully the seniors who have officially stepped down can remember the fond days spent in Music room, and will always be welcomed to return there. Also we all hope the juniors can continue to work hard and make future performances a success. Please cooperate well with your batchmates and Exco members to preserve the harmoc family’s ties.

That said, a friend of Justin’s posted some Youtube videos of our concert, so just take a look and comment.

Windworks ’09 has concluded, but our journey in life continues. Hope everyone can still keep in touch with each other after CCA has ended. I myself am pretty much tempted to go to Music room to sleep after lessons.

Thank you for all the support and love, HC Harmoc. May the next Exco take over this blog and keep it alive. Signing off, this will be my last post.

Hey everyone, as you all know, tomorrow will be our concert. Please be at music room at 9am with all your attire/ instruments etc. Our rehearsal will be at 1pm at the Drama Centre. Windworks ’09 starts at 7.30pm. It’ll be a long day, so sleep early, double-check instrument conditions, attire before you sleep tonight.

Jia you da jia! It’s the epic day we’ve all been waiting for. Don’t worry too much, and enjoy the music. For J1s, it will be your chance to shine! For J2s, it’ll be your last chance to perform as a member before we retire. All are welcome to bring cameras to help remember this momentous event. See you there tomorrow!

Important things to note

•May 28, 2009 • Leave a Comment

Dear all,

tomorrow (29/5/2009) will be our full rehearsal for the concert. As we are excused from lessons from 2pm, please be in the music room as soon as lessons end. We will be having our rehearsal from 2-6pm at Drama Centre, then dinner, followed by night prac. It will be a tiring day, so please rest well and take care of your health. Don’t pressure so much when you go on stage, just play to your best and enjoy the music…

for people who have yet to bring their silver ties for concert, please remember to place your ties in the bag where we will be randomizing our ties and distributing during concert by tomorrow.

saturday practice will start at 2pm and end around 6+pm. take care of your instruments, health, SLs (who have worked tirelessly and are very stressed over section pieces), and morale. Be happy, treasure your practices that you have…
